? How much does a website cost?

This is a common question, and one that we wish we could quickly answer. In short, it depends on the type of site you require, the functionality it requires, and the time required to create a look and feel (design) that corresponds with your vision. We'll do everything we can to stay within your budget. The difference between a one-day website and a one-week web design is huge in terms of both the level of information and overall quality. It's also worth noting that each additional function adds time to the design and development process, which increases the cost. We work on an hourly basis, as do all web design companies, and our prices are based on that rate multiplied by how long we believe the task will take. We will send an estimate once we have determined all of your requirements. Like all web design companies we work on an hourly rate and our quotes are calculated on that rate multiplied by how long we estimate the work will take. Once we have determined all your requirements we provide a quote.

? How long will it take to build my website?

As mentioned above, it depends mostly on the way the project is included and how quickly you, as our client, can give us the information to start the site, copy, support material, and photos. A small website can take 1 to 2 weeks to run. It will take longer to more complex projects. We shall provide a specified project timetable once we have determined the exact project needs. We recognize the importance and will always strive to meet (and beat) project deadlines.

? Can I update my website anytime I want?

Yes! Our standard websites are based on WordPress or Joomla platforms. We give a basic editor that allows you to update your website as easily as you would a Word document. Easy!

? Do I own my site?

A big yes. Undoubtedly. Unlike some other companies, we will not hold your website hostage. You may come and leave as you like. Our support packs include ad hoc maintenance, long-term SEO solutions, or a simple month-to-month plan that assures your site is constantly running on the most up-to-date platform version. Our goal is to be as flexible as possible to suit the variety of businesses we work with.

? Will my site display on Google search?

Yep. We create websites with all of the major search engines in mind — Google, Bing, Yahoo, and so on. We optimize each page for your primary keywords and register your website with monitoring programs (such as Google Analytics) so that you can observe extensive statistics on your site's traffic. It is important to remember, however, that if you are in a competitive industry, you may want to consider an SEO plan.

? What does SEO mean and do I need it?

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. It’s the practice of optimizing your website, your hosting platform, and your other digital channels in order to improve the position of your website on Google. As an example: You run a Carpet Store in Kathmandu called ‘Annapurna Carpets’. Can anyone find your business by searching for ‘carpet store Annapurna’ in Google? Selling carpets is competitive and you can bet that other businesses are fighting to get noticed. A good SEO plan will elevate your website above the competition. The goal is to get to page 1 of Google's search page.

? What's the difference between custom and a standard template design?

A template design is a pre-made template that usually looks quite good until you insert your brand's identity and content. A custom-designed website is specifically created for your business and always outperforms.

? What if I am not happy with the design you create?

We usually hit the design out the park on the first go, however, it's our policy that we have no limit to design concepts, changes, or revisions. We want to make sure you are 100% happy with your new website.

? How do I get started?

The best way to get started is to phone us and talk about your project. We can then set up a free meeting to go over your project in depth. Please email us if you have an existing brief.
